A Head Full of Ghosts

I recently finished this thriller and let me say…. You do not expect the ending. You have a woman named Merry who sits down with a writer to talk about her life growing up with her older sister Marjorie. Kerry’s childhood is definitely a rollercoaster. Her family becomes famous due to ending up on a tv show called The Possession.

The whole book sits around Majorie. She starts having extreme behavioral problems. Not like typical teenager problems but example her crawling up the wall backwards, speaking weirdly… I won’t go into any further detail.

The parents definitely have marital problems. You have a mom who is just trying to get her daughter well. She sends Marjorie to a psychiatrist hoping it can solve whatever it is she has going on. The dad on the other hand….. he’s found God and truly believes his daughter is possessed by a demon.

All while retelling the story, Merry is also rewatching the show her family is on. It’s hard for her as to some parts she has put far behind her. Going through the emotions, she starts a secret blog writing all about the show.

Through out the entire time we are stuck with is Marjorie possessed? Or is it some kind of mental illness? Is a exorcism going to work? Or a doctor that prescribes medication? This is what we are left with. But the ending….. THE ENDING will have your jaw to the floor.

I knew I was going to love this book due to the demon possessing storyline. Anything about ghosts and invisible forces draw me to them. If you are someone who loves demon, ghost, paranormal books, this is for you!!! If you have any recommendations on books that are in the same genre, PLEASE!! DO NOT HESITATE TO COMMENT!
